While it is contingeant on the nearly completed HUD meeting certain milestones, we feel it's now safe to give you a hard date. We have assurances and daily check-ins with our scripter, and finally:

 

It's Happening! On the 13th of May at Noon SLT!

We're probably going the 'Black Friday' route: Rush in, grab what you want when the event starts.
    One House Per Customer. Sharing with friends is recommended.
We aren't doing a big raffle for buildings - We don't want half the sim to show up, for a long, largely boring OOC event, and then have more than half of them go away disappointed they didn't win anything after sitting patiently for a raffle.

We cannot do the registration-raffle given the lack of a suitable scripted object that provides a proper list, and we don't want to suffer the confusion of forcing people to work with or interface with systems outside Second Life that could cause housing delays or confusion that could delay RP or deprive someone of a house (or taking one from someone who got it mistakenly).

Advanced Characters will be announced some time after opening day. All Advanced Characters have the requirement that you maintain a Standard character and be a member of an Advanced Character Group in the main Mhirdrun group that nobody is going to be in at first.

At a time to be announced, there will be a class for special characters. People who attend the class and can answer admin questions while showing a grasp of the rules and requirements of the rentals will then be able to enter the Advanced Characters Group, and will be able to freely rent ONE (1) special character slot of any kind, so long as there are open slots available. If the slots are not available, a player in the Advanced Characters Group may rent them without further admin oversight as soon as they are available.

Advanced Characters will be opened at a semi-random time, about an hour after the first class.
