Beneath Ao are the Gods of Primacy, who control life and death, darkness and light, those very fibers and elements which constitute the fundamentals of magic and reality. These gods are in many cases pitted against one another, but if one is overthrown or destroyed, another must always take their place. Ao dictates that that balance must be restored for the universe may continue.
