When you survive a Last Gasp roll after accidentally being pushed beyond the threshold in a dynamic fashion, the next time you level up, you may take 'How Are You Still Alive?!' instead of another class move. If you have How Are You Still Alive, you can take another move from this list when you level up.

Maybe you have nine lives. Maybe the gods of death finds your misadventures amusing; whatever the reason, you are very hard to kill. If any single damage source would reduce you to zero or below, do not make a Last Gasp: In its stead, set your hit points to 1. You can be healed, flee and attack still, but if you get to 0 or below 0 health points again afterwards, you'll be unconscious. You can't use this move if you already used a similar move to negate damage in an encounter (Get out of Dodge, Desperate Stunt, Armor Mastery, etc.).

When you use 'How Are You Still Alive' in front of witnesses, and no one sees you recover -- everyone assumes you are dead, and need no further proof of your defeat or demise. All of your rivals become convinced you are dead and write you off, authorities rescind arrest warrants, etc.

You are never the victim of random suffering. You never accidentally step on hidden pressure plates, STD's and lice avoid you. Gambling is a legitimate career opportunity - though you may never win big, you also don't get taken by the house.
